A single conservation strategy aimed at protecting the world's primates could simultaneously shield thousands of other animal species from extinction. Researchers found that the habitats of lemurs, monkeys, apes, and other primates overlap with the ranges of more than 3,000 other vertebrate species, many of which are also threatened.
